Lane Closures Set For Stretch Of Sunrise Highway In Suffolk: Here's When, Where

Scheduled roadwork could cause slowdowns for Long Island drivers.

Both directions of Sunrise Highway (Route 27) will see lane closures in the Town of Hempstead beginning at 7 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, according to the New York State Department of Transportation.

One lane in both directions will be closed between exit 58 and exit 59 until 3 p.m. while crews perform bridge work at Barnes Road.
